Key Lessons I learnt from Undercover Billionaire TV show


     1.  You don’t need a big bundle of cash to become a self-made Billionaire
     2. Cover the basics first – you need to cover the basics of living expense first before you can build anything bigger
     3.  Recognize your strengths and weakness
     4. Find your buyer first & then the rest will fall in place
     5. People miss a lot of opportunity when they panic and quit too early
     6.  Got to look confident and calm on the outside– you can’t let people know you are desperate even if you are 
     7. The importance of knowing the right people
     8. Buy low and sell high 
    9. A relationship is what sale is all about- convince the buyer they need what you are selling
   10.  Tap into the head mentality – speak in front of a group and sell them. If you can get one to two people to buy from you, the odds are the whole herd will follow

   11. Identify a need and fill it. This is the trick to start a successful business is to fulfill an important need in the market place
   12. For business idea – look for business industry that are growing
   13. The importance of human capital – surround yourself with people smarter than you
   14. List your selling price higher that what you eventually want, as the buyer will always try to negotiate a lower price.
   15. Know the true retail value of anything before selling it in the market
   16. Be ready to Pivot. A good business person is always prepare to handle the quick turn and failure that comes with running & starting a business
   17. Surround yourself with experts in their area
  18. Do you due diligence
  19. Turn rivals as revenue. Strike deals that are mutually beneficial
  20. Less if more- cut out any information that is irrelevant, stick to the essential

  21. “No” is just the start of the conversation. All successful business had been told the word no more than the word yes.
  22. Sometime in business you had to lose the battle to win the war
  23. If things go wrong, don’t go with them. The ability to remain cool under pressure is what set apart the professions
  24. When conflict arise, combat is optional 
  25. Endure more pain than anyone else, push through the tough time, as success come to those who push through the pain
