OIL LONG POSITION COMPLETED

Last Week I have completed my LONG position in OIL. I have purchase in total 8300 shares of USO with an AVG price of $20.00. Most of the money for this investment come from selling my A50 2823 shares. Currently I have no shares position in Hong Kong or China.

Breaking Even with Trading

Last Week, we had seen the Biggest weekly drop in the A50 2823 ETF about 12% drop in 1 week. That is the biggest drop since the begining of uptrend. It had also break the 1 month low support level at 14.6. With my Avg Entry price at 12.16, I have decided it is time to lock in my gain. I have sold my entire 44000 shares on MONDAY 2015/06/22. I sold it when the market open at a price of $14.42. Which had netted me a gain of $90000 plus HKD. An ROI of about 18% on investment. With this profit in mind, over my last 10 years in stock trading. It had made me ahead of the game again, with a Net Profit over 10 years period of about $20000 plus HKD. With this I am still happy about the result. Although I have aim for more, around half a million profit. But I think it is time to lock in profit in uncertain time. The money I got from selling the share to go to Oil investment. I will update the oil investment bar on the Left shortly. To be honest, It is an important milestone for me in trading over this 10 years going from negative and back to positive territory. It is not easy and I will definitely cherish my money in future trading much much more.The main reason for me to come out ahead in this game is I have limited my losses and Ride on my gain. Oil Investment

With oil price in 10 years low and the demand of oil will certain continue. I can foresee a bull run in oil in the future. Currently crude oil trade 60 USD per barrel. The production cost for oil is about 50 per barrel. With this in mind, I have sold my core ETF position in US which result in a loss of 5000 HKD and put all that money into oil ETF in US. The purchase price is 20.74. I expect price to double in 1-2 years time.

Trading summary from 2003 to 2015 (until now)

I have done some work on reviewing the profit and loss of all my previous trades over these 12 years. I have make a total of 126 trades. Losing Trade = 63 and Winning Trade =61. Max Profit per trade is $127,000 and Max. Loss per trade is $276,430.  Net total loss is $72,000 HKD. It is my Basic Goal to get back this loss money (which is getting even) with my remaining core position in 2823. And my Advance Goal is to make $127,000 with my 2823. The ultimate Goal is 4 times my Max.Profit which is $508,000 HKD. I believe my Core ETF position will bring me to this GOAL.

Recent Stock speculation

My Stock speculation with stock 3888 and 388 has both stop out. Which result in a loss of $11280 and $8037 respectively.  Total Loss of $19317. Well Loss is just part of trading. I had to learn to accept it. The main point is cut your loss stop and let your profit run. That's the Winner attitude. Reflect back on my trading experience, it seem that after every meaning profit and I always give back my profit on the following trades. It is time to stop trading and start thinking. I will stop my stock speculation activity temporary until I have figure a good system for it.
